What to expect:
Most treatment sessions will be 1 hr in length and your first visit begins with a comprehensive initial evaluation with a licensed Doctor of Physical Therapy. Your physical and functional status is assessed in order to determine your limitations and appropriate treatment plan. Your treatment plan will include techniques that promote mobility, reduce pain, restore function and promote physical wellness. Your treatment sessions will focus on alleviating pain and working toward reaching your functional goals set for therapy.
You will always be treated by a licensed Doctor of physical therapy or licensed physical therapist assistant with advanced training and you will never be treated by a unlicensed support staff such as an aide or technician. Before you are discharged from therapy, you will be confident in your ability to manage your condition independently.
